  I stopped by to see Matt and his wife to tell that not only do I wear the Rosa Corsa Classic half gloves when I ride, but also when I'm mowing the lawn and edging. The vibrations of the engines are absorbed by the extra padding sections in the palms. I tried on the Smith Optics helmet with the honeycomb style of insert and was well impressed with the fit, lightweight, and with my personal experience with the construction of prototype racecars, I know that the honeycomb will act as a deformable impact structure on impact. This is very important to me as I have had brain surgery on the right side to help cure my epilepsy. I have looked at many helmets, and worn many, but the Smith Optics line looks and feels the best for me. Mike Prewett
